Dear Friends,
For far to long we have witnessed Arizona’s education system under attack from many of our leaders in state government. Moreover, we have seen our neighbors struggle to find jobs, struggle to stay in their homes, and fight everyday to make it in this economy. Sadly many in our state legislature focus on cutting millions of dollars in education funding, attacking working families, and restricting freedom and equality. All while balancing the budget on the backs of our students and hurting Arizona families. I have been an educator and innovator my entire career, as a former K-12 teacher, current Arizona State University Instructor and President for Future Leaders of Arizona.
It’s time we focus on what matters most, putting our students in stronger schools and our neighbors back to work. It’s time we tell the Legislature that will not stand back and let them destroy our public schools and continue to shatter our fragile state economy. Our community needs jobs and our students need to be prepared for the 21st century workplace. It’s time we put people over politics and stand up to these career politicians at the state capitol. It’s time we elect a teacher, community leader, and grassroots organizer to fight for our kids and community.
We can no longer afford high unemployment, inadequate healthcare, broken schools, or a dysfunctional state government. As your state representative, I will work tirelessly to ensure that we get our neighbors back to work, we fight for access to healthcare, we stand with working families, and we guarantee our students are college and career ready.
Together I look forward to working with you and putting the focus back on what matters most. I ask for your vote and continued support as I fight for the issues that will help make our state grow.
